My name is Chelsea Stanfield, and my journey into grief coaching is deeply rooted in my years of experience as a bedside nurse. I have spent countless hours caring for individuals and their families during some of their most vulnerable and heartbreaking moments. I have witnessed firsthand the immense pain, sadness, and uncertainty that accompanies the loss of a loved one. In those moments, I saw not only the physical and emotional toll of grief but also the profound need for compassionate support and guidance.
Over time, I came to understand that grief extends far beyond the death of a loved one. People grieve the loss of a job, the end of a marriage or relationship, major life transitions, and especially the slow and painful changes that come with dementia and Alzheimer’s. Each type of loss brings its own unique challenges and emotional weight.
Recognizing the depth of this need, I felt a strong calling to do more—to walk alongside those who are navigating the difficult path of loss and healing.
This led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Human Services Counseling from Liberty University, where I deepened my understanding of the emotional and psychological impact of grief. I then became a Master Certified Grief Coach, equipping myself with the tools and knowledge necessary to provide meaningful support to those who feel lost in the aftermath.
Grief is a deeply personal experience, and I am dedicated to creating a safe and understanding space where you can process your emotions, find healing, and move forward at your own pace.
